About Humpday Beads

Some bead shops have a vibe. We have a problem.

It started the way these things always do. A love for the hunt, a weakness for anything unusual, and a deep conviction that the right bead exists for every project, you just have to find it.

So we found a lot of them. Like, a lot a lot. We're talking 25,000+ styles, thousands of vintage pieces dating back to the 1920s (and earlier), and enough inventory to make a reasonable person nervous. We've been in the industry for over 30 years, which mostly just means we've had longer to accumulate all of it.

The result is a shop that's equal parts curated and chaotic. It's organized by someone who genuinely gets excited about a 1960s Lucite drop in exactly the right shade of caramel, a Czech glass bead with an iris finish that shifts three colors in one light, or a finding so specific it shouldn't exist but somehow does.

We drop new finds every Wednesday. Some are brand new, some are decades old, and all of them have been handled by a person who actually cares whether they're worth your time.

One more thing: every product photo is a real pack, pulled at random, photographed as-is. No cherry-picking the prettiest beads, no shooting a pile of hundreds when you're getting ten. What you see is what you get - just from someone who thinks even the honest version looks pretty great.
