Vintage West German Modernist Tree of Life Pendant – Terra Cotta Orange

Rich burnt orange and gold detailing give this vintage West German pendant serious mid-century presence. The deeply molded design features a stylized tree or abstract botanical motif built from stacked graphic branches within an irregular organic shape.

The warm opaque plastic has a smooth, softly matte finish, while the gold-painted accents bring out the recessed design and make the graphic motif stand out beautifully.

This new old stock pendant was made in West Germany and dates from approximately the late 1960s–1970s. An integrated loop at the top makes it ready to use as a necklace focal, statement component, or centerpiece in a retro-inspired design.

At approximately 40 x 52mm — about 1.5 x 2 inches — it’s a substantial focal without the weight of a similarly sized glass or ceramic pendant. Pair it with amber glass, brass, olive green, cream, wood, or other vintage components for a full-on mid-century palette.
